Hello please see the image I've attached and tell me how do you play these chords where you have a X in between? This is a tough thing to explain what I'm asking but I'll trying my best. Normally an X means you're not meant to play that string right?

Does this still apply in this case? Cause it seems hard to jump over the string and still hit the others at good speed.

Anyway the example I've given is a G5 chord.

Id just play over the top. What song is this out of Ian?

the X is when you mute the string with your left hand, amm its really easy, just do a g Chord and dont use your 1st finger and mute the A string with your 2nd finger while its on the E string (bass) on the 2nd fret.

I use it in songs like Paradise City(Guns n' roses) or some ACDC songs.

Going by a guitar pro tab its Songbird. Although going by the book you gave me this tab is wrong
