great guitar skills you got there paul. "i will believe" is a top tune Cool

i've just been listening to some of your other stuff also. Blackbird is a real toughie to play but you do a good job of it. not that many people can play it i reckon.

"Something" was also good but "Take Me Away" for me was pretty awesome, i play that one too. not the original way but the better of the 2 live acoustic versions at the Manchester Academy in 94.

think i may try redo the vox on my version and reupload it.

my half hearted quick attempt of Take Me Away. i raised it up a semitone using software as i found it hard to sing in the right key so the guitar sounds a little wobbly. i still found it a tough one to sing though. guess i always sound better doing my own stuff Rolling Eyes

*deleted*

it was just too funching bad Razz

found another coversong i recorded over 3 years back which i prefer. i'm one of those that has a very limited vocal range. as long as i can sing something i like, i'm 'appy billy.

The Rutles - Let's Be Natural. Noel is a big fan of this Beatles spoof band. Their soundtrack album is pretty amazing Wink

Sonne - Let's Be Natural (cover)

i fingerpick through this. i think i got the outro pretty sweet.

now i wish i kept my mouth shut LaughingLaughingLaughing

5 things to know about me...

1. apart from the guitarwork, i'm crap at covering oasis (i'll always try) which is why the ones left online so far in this thread are artists other than.
2. i don't do youtube. the gigs were hard enough.
3. i guess i sound better doing instrumentals Laughing
4. i'm more a songwriter than a singer.
5. my vox will never be good, i'm a realist but just learned not to give a shit Very Happy
