I've been listening to them quite a bit. Now one of my favourite bands. Buck Rodgers and Just a Day? Some of their material appeared on Gran Turismo 3. Funnily enough, some of their greatest songs were b-sides.
Buck Rodgers (from Echo Park):

Just A Day (released on the Seven Days In The Sun single as a b-side, then released as a stand alone single):

Their drummer suicided in 2002, and since then the lyrics have matured a bit. For example.
Shatter (released on the Tumble and Fall single as a b-side, then released as a double A-side with Tender):

Come Back Around (from Comfort In Sound):

Feeling The Moment (from Pushing The Senses):

been a fan of this band for years. seen them live quite a few times. once they were the warming-up for coldplay. what an evening!
Their first two albums are absolute great and they're quite opposites of one another mood wise.

My favourite at the moment is We Are The People, from their new album, Silent Cry. Very Happy

Haven't heard Polythlyene, but I have got a few tracks from Yesterday Went Soon.. the title track itself is beautiful.. Insomnia's a rocker too..

Most of Echo Park is pretty good. I don't like Oxygen though. The closing track, Bug, makes absolutely no sense to me, but I like it a lot. Very Happy

Second favourite band at the moment.. behind Oasis, of course.. Razz
