When I think of this song I remember the transition between Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory. Whatever was released and was, what can only be described as, the BEST single ever!

My reasons are this, Whatever itself is a top, top tune. When you add b-sides like Half The World Away, Slide Away and It's Good To Be Free - you cant go wrong really! These songs are still being played today by Noel and the gang.

I, personally, am a HUGE fan of the recent 2006 acoustic tour editions, made me fall in love with the song all over again. My only criticism from the original studio version is that the end bit goes on a bit too long, D'you Know What I Mean??

Its meaningless. It was meant to be lighthearted, the same as the accordion bit, after a serious song, which wasnt recorded in the best of circumstances.
