There is not enough evidence to substantiate the claim that Noel is a better frontman, though. Oasis' success has been largely based on how Liam delivered the goods to the audience. Though Liam's voice is shit most of the time, he has a stage presence that is remarkable. Arrogance, swagger, attitude..whatever. It's a quality Liam has that epitomises how a rock star should act. I am one who is highly critical of Liam, and I truly believe Noel is one of the most brilliant artists of our generation. Much more so than Liam. But Noel has never been full time frontman in the same capacity that Liam has. The future could change my opinion, though. I look for Noel to be highly successful with his solo endeavors. Liam could go either way, and I am not holding my breath on that one. But for the here and now, I think Liam is the obvious choice between the two.

Liam's the obvious choice, yeah, but Noel has fronted the band many times and well enough to make suggesting him less than "ridiculous".

I'm not so sure about that. I've heard The Point gigs. He sounds awful when he tries to sing Liam's usual songs (eg: Cigs And Alc, etc).

I couldnt disagree more about him singing HIS (not Liam's) rockier songs, his voice sounds great, both in these gigs and others. But if the quality of someone's voice live was the main criteria then Liam wouldnt even get close to the top 100000, would he?

Maybe not so much of recent but in his day Liams equaly as good live.

Noel has always always has the better voice, live or recorded, Ive been saying that since '94 and its only relatively recently that people are starting to agree...

Nah mate, I'd still rather listen to Liams voice, it has way more of an edge than Noels, which is always best for live performance.

I went with Liam too, because I think he deserves some recognition for being one of the most charismatic and coolest lead singers in the past... I don't know how many years!
