To be honest, me neither, but you never know......
Did anyone see Wimbledon yesterday, when ppl were queuing up overnight just to get tickets to see AM, and there was this 91-yo English guy, who said that he didnt really like Murray, because hes always going on about being Scottish, rather than British and also that he didnt like his aggression/hand gestures, that he should be much more subdued?!?! SO, WHY THE F*CK ARE YOU QUEUING UP OVERNIGHT FOR TICKETS????????????????????

i think the french guy was serving for the match when he was 2 sets up wasn't he?, and still lost. if there's one thing us english and scots have in common, and that's to see the french lose
well done Murray, amazing comeback. _________________ Loch Lomond, Scotland. 4th Aug, 1996

I dont have anything against the French, actually!! They generally play sports with passion, which I like and respect. The countries Im not on in sport are the Northern European ones (Germany etc) who play methodically, rather than with creativity. I never worked out why the English didnt like France, apart from they generally hate everybody who is better than them (meaning everybody, really)!!
Oh, I dont like to see US or Australia do well at football, becos they dont really like it as nations

we don't hate any country that's better than us, only because there's none that's better than us
kidding of course. but we only want to see a country beat that's knocked us out of a tournament (probs bad sportsmanship), but in Englands case especially a team that has to cheat to knock us out which happens sometimes. think this all goes the same for every country though, and England naturally always want to see Germany lose too _________________ Loch Lomond, Scotland. 4th Aug, 1996

Andy Murray has bitten the dust in 3 sets thanks to the muscle shirt guy from Spain, Nadal.
I guess he burnt all his energy in the last match.
I hear he had the stay over Hewitt fans, who had got beaten earlier in the day, supporting him and gave him strength.
The 91yo lining up for tix in the middle of the night is an insomniac anyway. He has made the news finally in his twilight years for his effort.
I skip the German and Aussie put downs for now as I gotta go get a Subway for dindins.

yeah, but the English ALWAYS think they are cheated!! |
we undisputingly were in 1986
what I want to know is, why are we in the UK not ever good enough to win a major tennis title? fortunately Snooker is where our real world beaters are _________________ Loch Lomond, Scotland. 4th Aug, 1996
